Katherine Seidel '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6" midfielder from Chagrin Falls, OH. This Spring as a Junior, I was Team Captain and a starting mid-fielder for Chagrin Falls High School. Our team lost in the Ohio Div. II Championship Game. I was named 1st Team All District and 2nd Team All Ohio. I had 23 goals and 15 assists. Last Spring, as a Sophomore I was a starting mid-fielder for Chagrin Falls High School. Our team finished 3rd in Ohio losing 13-12 to the eventual State Champions. I have also played club lacrosse for 4 years for Ohio Premier Lacrosse, a team which has competed successfully in many nationally recognized tournaments. As a junior this past fall I started as a forward for our varsity soccer team that was ranked 3rd in the State. We lost to the eventual State Champions 2-1 in double overtime. I have a 3.595 GPA. My goal is to play lacrosse at the highest level possible. I am interested in schools East of the Mississippi River. I am looking for schools that will challenge me academically while at the same time offer an opportunity to compete at the highest possible level.
