Amanda Hurry '23 Recruiting Profile

I've always had a goal to play a college sport. I started playing basketball when I was 5 years old and always thought about playing college basketball, but in the past couple years I've been thinking about college lacrosse. I started playing lacrosse in 6th grade after I moved from San Antonio, Texas. I've played for many select teams and school teams for both basketball and lacrosse. Many of my coaches have considered me a leader and think that I am very coachable. I've been considered a leader because I communicate easily with my teammates and I always help people out. I enjoy playing lacrosse because I have a competitive spirit. I have been gifted with natural speed and agility. I've always been quick on my feet. I'm also very good at reading movement and positioning myself were I need to be.
