I would like to be a collegiate lacrosse player because I love competition and value the structure that many programs provide. I have learned that college athletes live a balanced life among school, social lives, and lacrosse. That is a balance that I already try to keep in high school. Because I typically balance 6 a.m. workouts twice a week, field hockey in the fall, school, and a social life, I think I am very well prepared for college life.
I also love working hard and being competitive. I got the nickname "Tank" after losing a shoe during conditioning one morning, but continuing to run until I finished the set. My goal-orientation, self-motivation, and competitiveness would make me a good leader and asset on the field and in the classroom.
