When I moved to Munich, Germany in middle school I wanted to continue playing lacrosse. I was one of the youngest on my team and we had to travel far to find our competition. On the train people would ask me about my stick, and I loved the opportunity to express my passion for the sport. Lacrosse has always been a foundation in my life. I want to continue playing the sport in college because it helps me achieve a good balance between my academics and athletic competition.
I have always wanted to make a difference in the world and had the opportunity to do that by volunteering in Costa Rica, helping endangered sea turtles. I hope to pursue these interests in college and am interested in degrees related to marine biology and environmental science. Lacrosse provides a structure helping me stay focused to achieve my goals, while also having fun!
