2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Julia Krutz, class of 2024. I live in Tampa, Florida and I am a part of my club team, Team Tampa. I began my rowing career on the competitive team summer of 2021, where I attended camps and fell in love with the sport. Joining crew has truly been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I’ve learned so much as a person, athlete and teammate through this sport-more than I have in any other sport. Growing up, I had participated in many sports but none of them were the competitive level I was looking for, that was until I started rowing. I’m very competitive, dedicated and passionate when it comes to athletic endeavors as well as when it comes school. I have a 4.0 GPA, I plan to maintain it and plan to continue AP classes to challenge myself and raise my GPA even higher. I look forward to finding the perfect college and rowing team to continue my education and athletics at the collegiate level!
