Personal Statement

Since 7th grade, just making it into a varsity boat was my biggest goal. I’m now proud to say that the opportunities for coxing in college widen my path even further! I hope to continue my coxing career beyond college and join fellow Winter Park coxswain Katelin Guregian at the Olympics someday. In the boat, I’m not only the voice of the crew but the leader of the shell, keeping our practices efficient and effective. I believe I’d be a great asset to any boat or team because of my competitive nature, which has always driven me to push myself and motivate the girls in the boat to push themselves. I’ve been able to consistently stay focused and excelling in my academics while also balancing leading our varsity boats at practice and on race day. One thing I pride myself on is that I love to connect with each person individually— not only as a rower, but as a teammate and friend— so that my calls are able to speak to them on a more personal level. Feel free to listen to my audio or contact me for more clips for this upcoming season!!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
