I started rowing 4 years ago, and have a great passion for the sport. In that time, I have raced in many categories and both sculling and sweep. I started racing in the First Varsity boat my freshman year. In my first year rowing at the high school level we placed at several events, including a gold at States in the 2x!
I enjoy rowing as it gives me a sense of team involvement and great camaraderie. My goal is to find a college that fosters this competitive aspect of rowing and challenges me to perform at the highest level possible. I like the great discipline which crew promotes in my everyday life and I am looking to continue developing that at the collegiate level.
