Academically, I would like to become proficient in my area of study, ensuring a stable economic situation for me when I graduate. Also, I want to make sure it is something that I could see myself doing for a while as it is unlikely that I would have the opportunity to change my field later in life with the way the current job market is. Even though it seems to be improving, we can't be certain unless we become economists. If I do become part of your team, one thing that might set me aside from the others is the complete and total change that I have been told occurs when I get on the erg or we start a piece out on the water. At first, I don't seem to be competitive, but put me in a boat and tell me to pull and I'll be with you 200%. Also, I do love to encourage them team as a whole even though we are put into boats based off of our performance because I have the strong belief that even the slowest person on the team pushes everyone else to be better and get faster. As a side-note about this, I had been the fastest novice during my freshman year of high school. But, when I became varsity, I had suddenly gotten a wake up call. it is that wake up call that still pushes me to be the best rower that I can possibly be. I love feedback, whether it be good or bad and if I don't seem to be responding, it is totally fine to yell at me. Honestly, I think I have a more successful reaction when someone tells me that I HAVE to do something rather than being asked to or being told that I need to. But, since this is mainly the things that I have noticed about myself, I would ask that you contact some of the other sources that you have in order to get a better picture. I only know so much about myself and I would want you to be fully informed about both my good and bad traits. Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed and are considering me as a new addition to your wonderful team!
