Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Kari Belson. I started rowing just over a year ago and fell in love immediately! I love the rewarding aspect of pushing myself to be the best version of me on the water, in the weight room, and in my environment. I love to be positive and hope to inspire others to do the same.
In college, I hope to row at a Division III school, which would allow me to push myself on the water and academically.
In addition to athletics, academics are important to me, as I have worked hard to keep my grades up and take challenging classes. I have loved taking chemistry and pre calculus courses, along with others. In college, I hope to pursue a major in cognitive science, behavior and decision sciences, or social psychology.
