Reece McNutt '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Reece McNutt! I'm currently an incoming Junior at St. Mary's Prep in Orchard Lake, Michigan. I'm a part of the historic first All- Girls' class at St. Mary's, leading the way and building the Girls' Division for future classes. I believe being in this situation has given me confidence and strength that I will be able to carry with me in the future. 

I started rowing in the fall of my freshman year and quickly fell in love with it. I found myself in stroke seat of our novice eight and freshman four, earning second and third at states. I learned how to scull then started racing those my sophomore year. I stroked our junior varsity four and a varsity double, again earning second and third at states.

In college I hope to row at a high level. Rowing is my passion, and I would love to continue my experience in it. I also hope to find a college that I feel comfortable at and one that I know will be able to give me the degree I want. Academics are also very important to me, so I want to find a college that will help continue my love for it.
