I’m from Manhattan, New York, and a junior (in the class of 2022) at Loyola School. I row at Row New York, at Peter jay Sharp boathouse. I have rowed stroke seat and bow seat. During the Covid-19 quarantine, I attended coxing seminars, and I as a coxswain made a goal to improve my coxswain skills and become a better teammate to lead boats into better calls. In addition to this, I continued to work out 6 days a week and started eating healthier. During the summer my teammates and I started video calling to work put together to keep one another motivated. I even borrowed an erg from Row New York to show my other teammates I was dedicated to being the best coxswain I can be.
I’m currently working on further improving my coxing skills and becoming the best teammate I can be, I have much to still learn but I am a fast learner and a very determined person. Rowing has become my passion because it never fails to challenge me mentally and physically. Rowing has to play such a huge aspect in my life these past years, I am determined on being a collegiate rower.
