Throughout my high school athletic experience, I have learned many things, such as who I am, what makes a good team, and push others to their limits. Rowing is not a sport that many people know about and are able to participate in. With that being said I am so thankful for the opportunity that rowing has given me. I have grown into who I am meant to be and I have learned so many things about myself through the mental strength that rowers need to succeed. My team is my family. We endure this struggle at practice every day and it makes us all sisters. On a college team, I will put as much, if not more, effort to make my teammates and myself better.
