Since I was little, I have always been a natural leader on and off the water, always wanting to help others at school and on my rowing team. I started rowing right before the covid hit in March 2020, my 7th-grade year, and at the time, I was on the middle school team. I immediately fell in love with the sport and decided that just three days a week of practice wasn't enough for me. Starting fall 2020, I earned my rank as a novice and began coxing a few months later. Standing at 5'2 and 130 pounds, I am not exactly the typical size for a coxswain, but I would like to think I make it up with skill and effort. My coaches describe me as reliable, team-focused, selfless, ambitious, and hardworking. My goal is to bring accountability and motivation to the team. If I am lucky enough to be a student-athlete at a fantastic university, the organization I join will receive my very best. Every practice, every race will have my total commitment. As I like to say, "this is your chance; this is what you've been working for." I will give whatever team I lead on everything I have and more.
