Working hard to be the best is just how I am wired. I try really hard to balance being a great rower and crewmate with being a great student. In both rowing and academics, some things can come easy which I am thankful while other things can be more challenging and spark my drive and desire to overcome the difficulties and succeed. What matters most to me is that I always give 110% effort in anything I do and that is what gets me through. My education is very important to me as is my desire to be part of a collegiate rowing team. One fuels my brain where the other fuels my heart.
