I started rowing with the intent of cross training for Irish dance, but once I started I couldn't stop. I love how each boat works together as a team and each boat has a close bond with one another. The sport in incredibly competitive and it makes me love it even more. I still dance and will continue to dance but rowing has become just as vital and important to every decision I make.
Even though I do both sports for hours a week I continue to keep my grades up not dropping below a B and taking multiple honors and Duel enrollment classes. When it comes to juggling between a sport and school it's something I'm no stranger to. I want nothing more than to excel in rowing, become the best I can be but also find a career that I will love and succeed in.
