I am just starting my journey to be on a collegiate rowing team. As I learn and grow as a rower I will add more information to my profile.
I have succeeded and enjoyed being a multi-sport athlete. Sports have brought ups and downs, memories, and amazing friendships. I'm so lucky to have been an athlete all my life. Water polo, volleyball, basketball, and softball are my sports during the year. I play AAU and club level basketball, softball, and volleyball. I recognize my hard work, determination, organization, time management, grit, and my parents’ efforts make all of this happen. As a player I am determined, a great teammate, I listen to coaching, and always have a will to win. I give my all no matter what. I love to compete!
Even though I am a dedicated athlete I still make time for school because it is my first priority. I use the same characteristics in the classroom as I do on the field. This makes me a successful student. Multiple sports might have taken time away from being able to row. But I believe I am a better well-rounded athlete with a base to be a collegiate athlete.
My older brother is on the Oregon State Rowing team. I have witnessed his athletic and academic career and I think it fits me perfectly. I love the camaraderie and work toward common goals that rowing brings.
