Abagale Vingers '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abagale "Abbie" Vingers. I'm 17 years old and I attend Sacred Heart Catholic School in Anniston, AL. I play for the Fusion Futbol Club during the fall, and for the SHC team during the spring. I have played the position of Center Forward, Outside Forward, and Outside Midfield, as well as Attacking Midfield. My primary position has been an Outside/Center Forward.

During my high school years, I've played many other sports as well, including volleyball, basketball, where I earned starting positions. In addition I've been the only girl on our school golf team for the past three years. Most recently I played both soccer and golf during the same season. Although this schedule was demanding I was able to finish strong in both sports.

My athletic accomplishments have included making the 1A All-County teams for both volleyball and basketball. For the past two years I have competed at the Sectionals and Sub-State levels for Golf. This season I placed first in the 1A Sectional Golf Tournament.  While playing soccer i have earned many accomplishments with both my Club team and my school. My club team and I have won the Regional and State title in back to back years. I was named the Most Valuable Player for my Club team this year. During the 2017 Sacred Heart season, I was named the MaxPrep's Player of the Week for the State of Alabama.
