My passion is to play soccer for as long as possible. The reason this is my passion is because I love my teammates and the environment when I play, whether I am playing at practice or in a high pressure game.
I believe everything starts by being a great teammate. That is important because it makes myself and everyone around me better. As a midfielder on my team, I feel that I need to lead my team both on the attack and on defense.
My grades are very important to me and my family. I understand that my academics are going to play an important role in the opportunities I will have to play at the collegiate level. I also enjoy learning. Whether on the pitch or in the classroom, I always give my best to my coaches and teachers. I aspire to be a lawyer in the future.
My goal is to play soccer at the highest level for me, but playing fit is very important. I want to enjoy the sport I love. I want to use the game of soccer to get the best possible education so I can be a leader in my field. I want to be the best teammate, player, and friend I can be on the pitch, in the locker room, and off the field. In the 8th grade, I was blessed to be a nominee for the Jimmy Hitchcock award, which is a prestigious local award for student-athletes of high character who serve their teams and serve in the Montgomery community.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement!
