Personal Statement
The highlights of my soccer journey so far are not just winning trophies and medals, but the friendships I have made on and off the field, and the recognition from coaches and peers for the hard work I put in to become a good goalkeeper. I am always looking to better myself, participating in all the games, learning from team practices and technical sessions, and working with goalkeeper coaches and fitness trainers to improve on my skills, speed and power. I also play up on premier teams and higher age group teams to challenge myself. I am committed to be the best I can be for myself, my coaches and my team.
Soccer is my passion, however, getting a good education is important to me. My interest is in health sciences, and I would like to pursue a degree in kinesiology. My long term goal is to have a career involving the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
I believe I am a good fit in any college that will allow me to continue to challenge myself and to excel both athletically and academically.
