Personal Statement
When I was entering high school I was contemplating playing soccer for the Coconino high school team. I was originally placed on JV which made me question my soccer ability. Later in the season I was moved onto the Varsity team as one of the only freshman on the team at that time. That change in difficulty of playing styles and opponents, made me realize that I am capable of competing at a high level and helping the team succeed to achieve a greater goal.
I want to attend a school that will challenge me academically and athletically. Currently I am in the top 25 percent of my graduating class. Playing high school soccer has taught me how to balance school and soccer at the same time, while doing both effectively.
