My name is Natalie Oosterhouse and I am in the graduating class of 2021 at Northwest Christian High School. I have a 3.7 GPA. I have played competitive soccer for 11 years and I am currently on the Phoenix Premier NW 02 team. My primary position is the 4 or 5, although I do occasionally play the 6. During my high school soccer career I have been a starter on a Varsity Soccer team every year.
I attended Contra Costa Christian High School for my freshman and sophomore years. As a freshman I was awarded Honorable Mention All-Region and as a sophomore I was named 1st Team All-Region. I was team captain my sophomore year and was also given the Most Valuable Player award. In addition to playing on the High School soccer team, I also played competitively with AYSO United East Bay. I was captain of my club team as well. I kept very busy balancing my school work, competitive soccer team, and also playing all three seasons of High School sports. In addition to High School soccer, I played High School Varsity Volleyball and started on the Varsity Basketball team.
Before my junior year of high school my family moved from Northern California to Arizona. Although I was new to the team and the school, I became the starting Center Defender at Northwest Christian and was named 2nd Team All-Region. I also played on the High School Varsity Tennis team at Northwest Christian. I enjoy staying active, playing a variety of sports and participating in high school athletics, but my passion is soccer.
Ever since I can remember it has been my dream to play soccer at the collegiate level. Off and on the field I am determined and hardworking. I strive to improve at every practice and game. I independently work with a private trainer twice per week to improve my strength and agility, in addition to training with my club soccer team. I know how to balance my time and energy to be successful in the classroom and on the field. I look forward to finding a college where I can play the game I love.
