Madeline Trozzo '21 Recruiting Profile

I would love to play post-secondary soccer at the highest level possible!

I am a starting center-back for the U18 (2003) girls CMFSC BCSPL team with Coach Carlo Basso in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. Our team is very successful and recently won the BCSPL League championship in November 2019 and just this past January 2020, we were Champions at the PAC Northwest Winter Classic Tournament. We played against the top teams in Washington and I am proud to say after playing 5 full games in 3 days, we were undefeated in the tournament. We were also undefeated in a recruitment tournament held by the University of BC in February 2020.

I have played soccer at the highest level from the age of 5. I played up a year starting in grade 5, including for 3 year in the BCSPL. I play a large role in the leadership of our team as I am very team-orientated with a positive, tenacious and enthusiastic attitude. 

My soccer strengths are my speed, my consistent performance, my success at winning the first ball and my ability to drive out of the defense. I am well-liked by my teammates and previous coaches, as my current coach will agree. I  have a strong work -ethic and maintain my fitness in addition to extra soccer training. I would be a great addition to the defense of a women's soccer team!
