Hello- My name is Ashley Villagrana. This August I will be a senior at Loara High School in Anaheim, CA. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. Although I can play all positions my passion is goal keeper. My ultimate aspiration in life is to play at the collegiate level. I have quick reflexes, great ball and foot skill coordination. My legs are strong which helps with punting and goal kicks. This season I was selected as 2018-19 Garden Grove League Goal Keeper Of The Year.
I believe academics and athletics go hand in hand. I strive to do well in school and it has shown by maintaining my gpa at a 4.0 since the 7th grade. I am a well rounded student who volunteers within my school and community. I have been a Girl Scout for eleven years, and I am involved in many clubs at school. As a first generation student I want to pursue a college that will meet my future career goals, but also my athletic goals. Ideally I would like to attend a four year university, but I am open to all options that will provide the highest level of competitiveness.
I hope to become a great role model to my community, and peers. Ultimately, my biggest achievement in life is to make my parents proud of where I'm going and who I will become.
