Mareli Morales '20 Recruiting Profile

I would like to take my time and say thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Mareli Morales and I am 5 ft. 7 in.  A versatile  player with ambidextrous abilities. I am comfortable with or without the ball at my feet. My main two positions are forward and outside midfield, but I don’t mind playing all. Soccer has always been a massive part in my life.  Ever since I turned 5 years old, playing soccer has been a daily thing. Whether I was playing, practicing or just messing around with the ball. I was captain on the JV team my sophomore year and a Varsity captain my senior year. My skills have always been acknowledged not only by the people around me but also by opposing coaches and their players who would routinely applaud my efforts, but living in such a small town has limited my resources in getting noticed at the next level.

Outside of school, I try my best to help people out. I help my grandma out at her work for disabled people. In school I am apart of the business academy that is an in school and out of school program that focuses on helping students build a solid business career for the future. Academics wise it will always come first, try to do my best on keeping good grades while playing a sport or just in general.  

By playing soccer at such a young age and participating in anything that has to do with it has made a huge impact on my life.  Not only have I gained major leadership skills, I have also learned to respectful, be humble and see the importance of teamwork and integrity. As an athlete I’m opened to any advice for my skills to be perfected. What makes me a good candidate is that I’m very passionate about what I do, I don’t like giving up. If it comes to the point were I do, I try my best to keep pushing. What makes me different is, I’m a very outgoing person always there for a helping hand.

I would love to be playing in the near future !
