Makayla Simpson '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makayla Christine Simpson, and I am a 17 year old junior at Bishop Union High School.  I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and since the first moment I stepped on to the field I have loved the game.  Growing up I played every fall season of AYSO soccer that I could.  At the age of 10 I began playing on the Spring Traveling Tournament Team that traveled all over Southern California.  Since I was a freshman I have played on the varsity soccer team for Bishop Union High School.  My freshman and sophomore year I played both defense and goalie, but my junior year I exclusively played goalie.   I was named one of the top goalies in the Central Section in California for the 2018/2019 season.  I have always dreamed of getting a college education and getting to play the sport I love.  I hope to one day work with athletes as a athletic trainer so I will continue striving for the best education possible all the while playing soccer.
