Emily Borrero '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emily Borrero, and I am in the graduating class of 2020. I currently play for Eastlake High School's Varsity Girl's Soccer Team and Rebels Soccer Club Elite as outside back and center back. I really enjoy playing outside back because I can get more involved in the game. It allows me to create plays,  make runs, and help my team move the ball up the field. I have played soccer ever since I was 5 years old, and it has been a major part of my life ever since. Through playing this sport for many years, I have learned valuable skills such as leadership, responsibility, communication, and accountability. I am a very coachable player, and I am open to improving my game and bettering my abilities. Along with being dedicated and working hard on the field, I am just as determined to be successful in school. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school. My goals are to have a very strong academic and athletic career in the future.
