Personal Statement
My name is Karla Avila, and I am in the class of 2021. I play for my school, Universidad Xochicalco for highschool in Tijuana and I can be a good candidate because I don't give up. I work hard on my techniques, my shots at the goal, my speed, etc. I play for Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente U17 in Tijuana. I have been playing for Baja California selection (State's selection) winning the National Cup in Toluca, Mexico in 2017 and we went to Barcelona, Spain to compite against their U17 girls soccer team. In 2019 we finished #1 on the National in Acapulco, Guerrero with Baja California selection team U17. I am looking foward to continue playing soccer at the highest competitive level in college.
I have been playing since i was seven years old and i have been working very hard to be a really good player and I am. Every day a have a routine to practice with my team and go to the gym working on a routine to be more agile, etc. It is something I work hard every single day and on weekends I have soccer games, and this is because I am working really hard for my goal that is play for a college.
