Megan Selecky '19 Recruiting Profile

To begin, I've been playing soccer since I was 8 years old and I love the game even in the darkest of times.  During my younger years I would play every sport just because my friends were but soccer was the only sport that I played for myself.  But soccer broke my heart, I was injured by tearing my ACL.  I never gave up and my passion for the game only grew.  I made sure that I would come back stronger than before.  Ever sense then I've wanted to impress coaches with my play and make sure they remember my name.  Besides my love for soccer I have a passion for animals and wish to work with them for my future profession.  Because of this I've been challenging myself by taking AP and honors classes.  Also, maintaining an A average.  I participate in CSF, a club called The Narrow Road (TNR), and volunteer to help my community.  I believe strongly that what makes a good athlete and student is strong character and heart.  In which I show on and off the field.
