Sophia Tenes '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a very motivated soccer player. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and it's my passion.  I am a highly dedicated player, currently in club soccer and on the high school soccer team.  I have separate weekly training also to develop my soccer skills.  My goals and aspirations include finding a univesity that can build up my potential as a professional soccer player, while promoting my educational goals of graduating with a college degree.  

What makes me a good candidate for a university/college team is that I am a very dedicated soccer player and team player.  I am an avid listener and take coaches seriously.  What makes me different from other recruits is that, in addition to my passion for excelling in soccer, I'm a natural left forward striker and left winger.  It is this ability that has made me a very successful player.  Additionally, I have a high GPA close to 4.0 and have excelled in most of my classes.  In my spare time, I do volunteer work within my community on clean up days and have helped providing donation items to the Midnight Mission and Jordan Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles.
