Playing soccer in college has always been my plan. My goal is to find the right fit for me where I contribute to the success of a competitive team and being part of that team helps me be the best person I can be and reach my personal goals. I have worked hard, and continue to work extremely hard, to fulfill that. I have a passion not only for soccer but for working out which has helped tremendously in being ready for all games and situations.
I haven’t just worked hard with sports, academics is very important to me as well. Each year my high school grades have improved. A 3.5 GPA as a freshman, a 3.8 as a sophomore, and currently I have a 4.1 GPA midway through my 1st semester junior year with the goal of continuing that. Academically in college I plan to study pre-med with the ultimate goal in life to become an orthopedic surgeon and help others with their bodies.
I have encountered setbacks in my soccer career, but I have put my heart, mind, and body in keeping my goal and I believe my determination is what sets me apart from others, on and off the pitch. On the pitch, I’ve always been on the attacking side and give everything I have to get the ball in the back of the net, or distribute it for others to do the same. Once I have completed my dream of playing college soccer, my next goal is to become a starter, and I know I can do that with my hard working and determined mindset.
