Araceli Martinez '22 Recruiting Profile

One of many collegiate goals I have would be to participate in my desired university’s soccer team. What makes me a good candidate for their team is that I am willing to put every ounce of dedication into pursing and accomplishing that goal. What makes me different from other recruits is that i come from a background of struggling family members that couldn’t make much in their life’s. My desire is to help them out and create a better and bright future for myself and be able to provide for my family. Academics wise all I’ve ever been taught is that my education should be my main priority. Each day I thrive to get ahead and make mistakes which will teach me valuable lessons that I will learn from. Athletic wise I am very committed into my sport and I will stop at nothing to continue improving myself and my team mates. I hold great sportsmanship and a positive attitude towards any situation that surpasses me.
