Sierra Pearson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sierra Pearson, I am 16 years old in 11th grade at DaVinci Science High School in El Segundo, CA. I play on the girl's varsity soccer team as a striker and an attacking midfielder, jersey #6. I have played soccer since I was five years old. I joined my first club team with LA Galaxy South Bay and won my first tournament in 2012 at the Holiday Cup. Two years later, I was recruited as a starting left attacking midfielder with South Bay United FC on their elite flight one team. My team took first place in the 2016 Coast Soccer League and first place in the 2017 CSL Spring Cup. I now hold a starting position as a striker/attacking midfielder (left & right) on elite flight one team, jersey #6 with Sand and Surf Soccer Club in Manhattan Beach, CA, my team took first place in our league in 2019. As I continue my journey playing soccer, my passion for this sport grows deeper every year. I will continue to be a quick and dynamic player, learn and improve every day, and I will continue to lead my teammates with a positive attitude.

June-July 2021, I traveled to Greece, Spain, and Turkey to play in the SoCal Select Hattrick Soccer Tour. I played in the Costa Blanca Cup in Benidorm, Spain, and also played in several friendly matches in Athens, Poros Island, Madrid, and Istanbul. 

I am a dedicated student and take my education very seriously. I study hard and push for excellence. I have completed my biomedical honors class during my sophomore year with an A+, also finishing the year with a 3.66 GPA.  I am an active student with DaVinci's Leadership team.  My extracurricular passions besides soccer are CrossFit, swimming, and reading.

I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me academically and athletically. I am interested in exploring a major that will allow me to earn a degree in biomedical or health sciences.
