Savannah Grove '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! My name is Savannah Grove and I am currently a senior at Sonora High School, graduating in 2022. I have been competing for many different soccer club teams since I was 6, and my hard work and passion has followed me onto the high school stage. While goalkeeping is my first love, I am a multisport athlete and enjoy swimming on both Relay and Medley teams. 

Ever since I was little, my goal has always been to compete at a collegiate level. My dedication to becoming the best player and teammate I can pushes me each and every day. While winning is always the goal, I find that what drives me is the other girls I play with. I want to be the best version of myself, on and off the field, for them. You will often find me working on my fitness, technique, and agility on my own time outside of the mandatory practices. I believe the best leader isn't the loudest person, but the one who can meet others wherever they are and lift everyone up together.

I have always been a student-athlete, in that order. My studies have always been a priority and I plan to use my college time to pursue a career in agribusiness. Many athletes say they can balance workload, but having such a rigorous high school plan for the past 4 years has taught me how to schedule, time manage, and has shown me exactly how much I can handle. Having an end goal and steps to get there sets me apart from other undecided freshmen and will keep me on track to success.
