Sara Standlee '22 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer when I was five, and have continued ever since. I love the energy soccer brings, and the connection between the players and coaches. I have played several positions over the years and found that I favor offensive positions, especially forward. However, I am flexible and have played other positions as needed by the coach.

I am very cooperative and supportive of my teammates and coaches, and strive to improve every day. I am hard working and persistent in learning new techniques, and always focus on developing my skills.

In middle school and high school, I have taken as many advanced and honors classes offered, and maintained straight A's in all classes. I also love animals and have volunteered at different  animal rescue organizations. I also have been a participant in martial arts for six years, and have reached the leadership rank of second degree black belt. 

I work efficiently to balance sports and academics. I want to attend a college with a competitive atmosphere that pushes me to my highest potential. I look forward to the excitement and challenges of being part of a college team.
