Allison Merrill '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allison Merrill and I am a senior at Acalanes High School in Lafayette, California. I would really love to play soccer at a 4-year college and study for a degree in business, marketing, finance, or economics. My main positions are center midfield and outside forward. I am a very coachable player and I am always working hard to improve in any way that I can. I believe I am a great team player and I always try to lead by example and step up when I need to. I have been a captain on my club team for the past few years which has helped me be a leader on and off the field. Soccer has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has shaped me in many ways, teaching me how to manage my time, helping me develop important life skills like teamwork, and always being something I love to do. Soccer has always been my biggest passion and something I really work hard at. I've devoted much of my life to soccer and I've loved every moment of it which is why I hope to continue playing at the college level.
