Hi, my name is Joslyn Dawes. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, club soccer since I was 6. Ever since I was little, I have always known that I am passionate about the sport. Growing up as a soccer player, I have always done more than the bare minimum of club practices, including multiple private trainings. Some of my favorite trainings are my weekly trainings with a college coach and semi-professional goalie, which I have done for the past 6 years, and my trainings outside with my Dad, who also grew up playing soccer.
Although I am a 2008, I played on a 2007 team for 4 years in the #6 and #8 position. I am able to play with both my right and left foot. I now play on one of the top GA teams in the Country. I play in an attacking winger position on both my club and high school teams. I am an outgoing and encouraging team player who is able to have fun while taking my training and playing seriously.
During my 2022 club season we won the NPL/Discovery League and qualified for Nationals in Denver Colorado. Also, in 2022, as a Freshman in High School, I earned a spot on our Varsity Team as a starter. I have played each high school season, all while maintaining a 4.0 or greater GPA.
I am committed to going above and beyond in order to achieve my dream of playing soccer at the collegiate level.
