My name is Kelly Hardwick and I bring a lot of energy and a positive attitude to my soccer teams. I know the game of soccer very well considering I have been playing since I was 4 years old. My goal every time I step on the soccer field is to give everything I have and be a team player and leader. Over the many years I’ve been playing soccer, my favorite highlights have been scoring the winning goal on Varsity as a Freshman to advance our team to CIF and winning National Cup with my club team in 2018 and going to Hawaii for the Far West Regionals. Another main highlight was being selected to play on the National Soccer Academy team and play in Europe for 3 weeks. It was amazing playing on a team with girls and playing against teams from all over the world in the Gothia Cup and Dana Cup. After many years of playing and traveling for soccer, I’ve learned how to adjust to teams playing styles, environments, and coaches expectations.
I am very open minded when it comes to choosing a college. It doesn’t really matter the size or location, but the important thing for me is to feel safe in the area and a college with a lot of school spirit. I am looking for a school with a good program to study Education. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher. My athletic goal is to keep playing soccer at a high level and continue to grow as a player on and off the field. I believe I can make a positive impact both physically and mentally on a team.
