- Awards1. One of the papers that I co-authored was published in the scientific journal Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells on Jul 18, 2024: Generic strategy to prepare PPy-based nanocomposites for efficient and stable interfacial solar desalination with excellent salt-rejecting performance. 2. I am currently working on a whitepaper about building energy savings and AI-based thermal solutions, based on my work from last summer’s internship in the Energy Technology Area, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. 3. Earlier this year I made a presentation, “Charting a Greener Path: Empowering Alviso Through Environmental Education and Monitoring”, at the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide Conference, a conference that features women’s work in Data Science, March 8th, 2024. 4. I am leading the making of a documentary called “Crisis in in Alviso”, about environmental issues for Alviso, a low-income community where Hispanics and Asians make up nearly 75% of its population.
