Lauren Freshwater '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Freshwater. I am going to be a senior in high school and am looking to play soccer in college. I fell in love with the game of soccer as a young girl and am determined to continue playing until it is no longer possible. I am a very competitive person, both on the field and in the classroom. In school, I have kept a GPA of 4.0, and currently have a weighted GPA of 4.33. In soccer, I have played at the varsity level since freshman year. I currently play competitively for Sunnyvale Alliance. I thrive in a European style of soccer, in which the style is based on possession and shape. I love playing forward, although recently I have begun playing center midfield. I also am a great leader on the field. I am looking for an academic and athletic scholarship.
