Personal Statement
I am focused, driven, and hardworking, on and off the field. As a player and straight “A” student, I have the ability to balance in order perform at my best level every time with everything I do.
I have played soccer since I’ve been three years old and have developed solid skills and foundation that has helped me advance, which allowed me to be a starting club travel player at eleven years old. As a player, I mostly play defense, but am very balanced and can play all around as I have excellent perception/anticipation on the field. While I am right handed, I play equally strong with both my right and left feet. Not only do I play with a fire within, but I listen and communicate with my coaches, trainers, and teammates at all times as I am always looking to improve my game.
During my freshman year of high school, I made the JV team (with my high school having a freshman team as well), at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School (Olney, Maryland), which has a nationally ranked soccer program. I was to likely move on to the varsity team for my sophomore year but due to a conflict with my Theatre Scholarship, I was not able to continue to play on the high school team. I did, however, continue to play for my travel club team throughout my sophomore and junior years. During the summer of my junior year, my family and I relocated to San Diego, CA, where I now attend high school for my senior year.
I look forward to finding the right college team that will welcome my dedication, skills and collaborative play style.
