My name is Aracely Ortega, I am now a Senior in San Jacinto High School, I play Varsity Soccer for the high school, I transferred there my sophomore year and now I am the Captain of the team. This year I got MVP, First Team and Press Enterprise All Inland Honorable Mention. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old, when I moved to California I had played with an all-boys soccer club team (Manchester United), then I moved on to my first all-girls soccer team which was Westfield when I was 13 years old. The team later formed into Juventus U15-U16 where I played for 2 years. In 2012 I moved on to Temecula United U17 premier team for 1 year, and now I am currently in Pateadores U17 Developmental Team in Redlands. I play multiple sports such as (Track, Cross-Country.) My parents are very supportive on what I do, my father is in the Military which he is now serving 19 years in the Marines. My years of soccer experience has been amazing, I don’t think I would trade it for anything else.
