Camryn Folkers '25 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer since I was 4 years old and I have always dreamed about continuing to play in college. My teammates tend to look at me for motivation and encouragement, hence why I have been chosen to be captain of my club team and highschool team. I enjoy having fun with my teammates during practice but I don’t let it interfere with my competitive side. This past year I have been pretty set on going into the medical field because of my interest in helping people. I play mainly defensive midfield, but my coaches tend to play me wherever they feel necessary during games. I was the top scorer during my Junior year high school season, and second in most assists. This season I was awarded “Best Offensive Player”. I play for Santa Teresa High School, where I have been a starter on varsity since my freshman year. My biggest inspirations have always been my parents, they push me more than I ever thought was possible. Family members, friends, coaches, and teachers have used words like thoughtful, hardworking, respectful, helpful and responsible to describe me.
