Personal Statement

My name is Angelina and I have been playing soccer since I was five years old.  I instantly knew this was my passion and I have poured my whole life/soul into perfecting my craft.  I love the adrenaline rush I get when I am in a game. I also love playing and working together as a team.  My goal has always been to play at the college level and I strongly believe my skills, work ethic , team spirit and soccer IQ will benefit and be an asset to any team.  I have strong leadership skills. I have been the captain of my club team for the past four years and was honored when I was selected as the captain for both my freshmen year and as a sophomore on the Junior Varsity team.  I work hard on my skills every chance I get. There is always a ball on my foot.  I never give up on a play and I am always the first to the ball, even when I am tired. Many people say they love my perseverance and dedication to give 150% at all times.  My future educational goals are to be an educator like my mom. She has been an elementary school teacher, intervention specialist and is now a principal.  I want to pursue this academic goal of mine because I want to make an influence on students.  I have volunteered for four years as a 'coach' for students with special needs in the Shooting Stars program in our community.  I love the feeling I get when a player makes a basket and has a good time.  I can't wait for what the future holds for me and I can't wait for the opportunity to play in college. Thank you for your consideration!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
