Hi Coaches, my name is Mia Corder, and I'm an academic athlete at Yorba Linda High school in Yorba Linda, California. I play outside Midfielder and striker on the varsity women's soccer team. Also, I play outside Midfielder for my club team OC Surf North NPL. I know I have what it takes to help your team win. I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, and I've always wanted to play in college while getting my degree. I plan to major in Nutrition or Physical Education/fitness and I currently have a 4.0 GPA.
I am a very technical player with a very good understanding of the game. My strengths are 1v1 attacking from the outside, beating the defender and either cutting in and shooting or taking it wide and crossing the ball. Im a fast player with and without the ball and am constantly scanning the field. Even though I am dominate with my left foot, my right foot can strike a ball too. I can play both on the right and the left side. I am very calm on the ball when under pressure which is a hard task to master.
