2023 Fall Season ...Personal Statement
My name is Maddie King. I will be a 2026 graduate from Ralston Valley High School in Colorado where I lettered and played varsity as a freshman. Being the 11th player on the field and supporting my team is my goal as a keeper. I am very good with my distribution and connecting to help my team out of danger. Being a keeper makes me understand how hard the mental side of the sport is, that one mistake can make or break a game. How communicating and staying positive with my teammates when the game is not going our way, is one of the most important parts. But putting in that extra work, taking the feedback and pushing myself just a little harder is what makes me who I am. Being in a training environment where I can challenge myself and the people around me is what makes me better. I'm looking for a college that will challenge myself on and off the field. Since I was little I have always been creative and interested in art, especially interior design or some form of design and this is what I would like to pursue in college.
