My teammates and I are fortunate to have a great club training complex that sits along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Fort Collins, CO. During one of our training sessions this summer as the sun was just starting to set behind the mountains I stopped for a second to take it all in: hearing the balls bumped around, the feeling of the ball at my feet, the smell of the turf, the sound of my teammates working together. I realized then that I want that feeling and those moments to last as long as I can make them, hopefully in college and beyond.
I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, as a forward and a midfielder. Although I love scoring goals (I don’t think I’ll ever forget the surprise and excitement of my first header off of a corner), I really enjoy the satisfaction of making a great cross or slotting a ball through and seeing my teammates finish and celebrate.
I am currently a Junior this year in the fall of 2020 at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins. I am enrolled in many classes the ones I am most exited about is AP history and AP psychology. I’m particularly interested in business, physical therapy, and fashion and design. I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I also love snowboarding with my family and look forward to getting as many days on the mountain as I can each winter.
