Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Breanna Sisson and I am a Senior at Fountain Fort Carson High School. I was on the Honor Roll in Term 3 and I am currently maintaining a 3.4 GPA which puts me on track to my personal academic goal which is to finish high school in 2016 with at least a 3.5 GPA. I love to be challenged in both my education and my physical abilities.

I have been playing soccer for 11 years and have a very strong love for the "Beautiful Game". As a freshman I played offensive midfield and had 4 goals and 2 assists after 7 games, at which time I was moved up to Varsity, where I lettered. I have been named "Player of the Game" twice, one of which was for scoring 2 goals, including the game winner off a 25 yard free kick that bent into the 'upper 90'. I am currently playing as a forward for the FFC Trojans. My Current stats for the 2015 season after 7 games are 4 Goals and 2 Assists. I am a versatile player with a high soccer IQ that is capable of playing many positions but I am a natural midfielder due to my vision, shooting and passing ability. I played as a midfielder for Rush Soccer last fall and I received the following feedback from my coach: "Your clear strength is your long range shooting and service into the box, you're strong and able to hold players off of the ball very well".

I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, possibly sports therapy. Sports are a big part of who I am but it’s not all I am. Having a great education is something that can never be taken away so landing at a great institution with a great curriculum is far more important to me then school rankings.

Please review my site, including the game video and I hope to hear from you in the future.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Breanna Sisson

Training

  • Summer Performance Training
  • 1 year
  • At Max Performance, every athlete is evaluated by a licensed physical therapist in a full orthopedic screen before the start of any training program. This information is then used to help design a training program customized to the needs of the athlete. Knowing that they are training not only for their chosen sport, but also to improve on their specific muscle imbalances and weaknesses, athletes at Max Performance can train with the confidence that the chance of injury is significantly lower. This “medical model” training program is still the only one of its kind in Colorado Springs, and our development team is proud to make it available to local, state, and nationwide athletes alike.
  • D1 Prep Training
  • 1 year
  • The D1 Prep curriculum is designed to develop strength, power, speed and agility using Olympic lifts and advanced speed dynamics, mirroring a Division 1 collegiate program.
