Hi there, my name is Emily Hoy and I am a 2021 graduate. My goal has always been to play college soccer and I know I will make a great addition to a team to play at the next level! The last full season of high school soccer I was ranked #1 in the state of Colorado (5A) for assists and combined stats for freshman/sophomore year, I had 13 goals and 23 assists! I am fast with great endurance, coordinated and balance, advanced and reliable foot/technical skills, and great vision for the field. I am fiery and resilient with a strong mindset to win! Ending my junior year, I finished with a 4.33 GPA and a current cumulative GPA of 3.8. I was accepted into the competitive STEM biomedical engineering pathway for high school and balance a busy school schedule with sports and a social life. The busier I am, the better I do!
As with everyone else, school has finished remotely and sadly my junior year soccer and track seasons were cancelled after our first scrimmage. As previously mentioned, my sophomore year I was ranked #1 in the state of Colorado for 5A HS girls soccer for assists with a total of 13 goals and 23 assists. I have been a varsity starter in soccer and track my entire high school career recognized with all-conference and high academic performance in both sports. I am a soccer player through and through I also ran varsity track all throughout high school as I am naturally a runner and felt it would be great training to compliment soccer. I am a sprinter and mid distance runner and my track coach loves having me on the team though my time is primarily dedicated to soccer (seasons coincide). With my club team, I unfortunately did not track my assists/goals/playing time, but I am a starter with majority playing time and have multiple goals and assists for the team. See available video on my website!
I have been attending ID camps and tournaments as much as possible and COVID has really put a damper on the mission for college recruitment at this time. I am actively recruiting for soccer and feel good about where I am at, but want to keep pushing. While I would love to play in Colorado, I am willing to consider schools out of state as well. Please reach out via email at [email protected] or call me at 720-475-6925. I can't wait to learn how I might be a part of your college soccer team and family!
Thank you so much!
