Malina LaCapra '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to pursue my undergraduate degree while playing the game that I love at the collegiate level. I am challenging myself in High School in a variety of Honors and AP classes to explore my interests and at this time will be looking to study Criminal Justice/Law and Psychology. I am a honors student, goal oriented and driven to be the best student I can be. I am looking forward to continuing my love, passion and skill for soccer at the collegiate level. I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and have competed in premier soccer since I was 10 years old. I have helped lead my premier club to 2 state championships as starting Striker. I was named All Division in my sophomore year with my High School team as starting Center Back 2017. In my Junior year as starting Center Back I was named ALL NVL Conference and helped lead my team to win our NVL Conference. I helped lead my team to compete in the semi finals in States for the first time in our school history. I am excited for my senior year in the Fall of 2019 as Captain of my High School team. I am a strong versatile player that will be a competitive asset to any collegiate soccer program. I have been recognized for my athleticism in soccer and track as well as my sportsmanship both on and off the field. I hold multiple school records in relays in track and I am respected by my coaches for my drive to win and for my encouragement of my teammates to always work to be the best they can be. I look forward to talking with you about the potential player and asset I will be to your soccer program.
