Giana DiFebbo '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Giana DiFebbo, I'm a Junior at St Marks High School in Delaware, class of 2026. My love for soccer began at the age of five and early on I knew I wanted to play at a competitive level. I have played at a Regional, National and International level. I am hardworking and always striving to be better on and off the field. I have a 4.0 and have made Honor Roll all 4 marketing periods for Freshman and Sophomore Year. I am a student ambassador for Saint Marks, and I am part of the Blue and Gold club that works with special needs teens/young adults.

My current club team is Sporting Delaware, and I play for the 08 Girls GA team. I play multiple positions on the defensive line, in Mid-filed and can adjust to each position quickly.  I am a great 1v1 defender with fantastic tackling skills, great instincts to read the ball and defenders.  I have the size and speed to dominate the box as I’m 5’ 8” and 135 lbs. I win balls in the air and have the vision, foot skills and distribution skills to find the appropriate outlets to start our offense.  I am the target for most free kicks and dangerous in and around the offensive goal.   I am also very calm on the ball and have the ability to quickly read the field.

High School I am a starter on the Varsity team and currently play center back & mid-field. My freshman year I made 1^st Team All-Conference and was listed in the top 36 players list.  Sophomore year I made 2^nd Team All-State and ranked # 27 in the State.

Aside from my club team and High School team I am also part of the NCE Elite COE training program where I have had the opportunity to play internationally twice. July of 2022 was my 1st International tour to Sweden where I was honored to play with my NCE teammates for the Gothia Cup! While in Sweden I was the 08-team captain and played up with the 07 girls’ team. My 2^nd tour in Sweden I was the team captain again and received the coaches # 1 Player award for my performance and leadership.
